Katie Price was crowned Bristol Homecoming Queen for 2012 at the annual town festival in July. She was sponsored in the competition by Bristol O’Hair-Port, where she had served as an intern during her final semester at Central High School in Elkhart.

In August Katie will move into campus housing at Holy Cross College in Notre Dame, Indiana, where she recently enrolled as a freshman. She plans to major in communications and minor in sports management.

Katie says her ultimate goal is to become a sports commentator and analyst on ESPN. This would allow her to combine her two major interests, a love for sports and a passion for digital media.

Because of the close connection between Holy Cross College and Notre Dame University, Katie will be able to attend Notre Dame football games in the student section. “I love Notre Dame,” she says, and participating in its exciting sports atmosphere will fit in nicely with her career aspirations.

Since she won’t be very far from Bristol, Katie plans to fulfill her duties as Homecoming Queen to the best of her ability. She hopes to make appearances at town events and, in general, represent the community, as she says, “the best I can.”
