The area’s newest food service outlet is DC’s Burgers, located at 910 Goshen Avenue in Elkhart. It is owned by Darren and Rebecca Cornell, who also operate DC’s Pizza, which is right across the street at 909 Goshen Avenue. Jennifer Welker is the general manager.
The new business features hamburgers and sandwiches available at a drive-through window. There are no dine-in facilities, but patrons are welcome to use the facilities of DC’s Pizza to sit down and enjoy their meals.
Free delivery is available throughout the area, based on a minimum order. The required minimum is based on the distance from the restaurant. Call 333-3336 for details on this service. More information can also be obtained by checking DC’s page on Facebook.
Darren states that customers can expect “the same quality standards” they have experienced at DC’s Pizza. For example, the ground meat is obtained “fresh each morning” from Hickory Meats, and the hamburger patties are personally prepared on site daily. Patrons can choose from a variety of cheeses for their sandwiches.
Darren and Becca are particularly proud of their signature “fry sauce,” a proprietary blend of products for dipping French fries or onion rings. Fry sauce originated in the Utah and Idaho region of the country, and consisted of a combination of ketchup and mayonnaise. DC’s has added mustard, pizza sauce, and other ingredients for a truly unique taste treat.
DC’s Burgers is open seven days a week for the convenience of the dining public. Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight Monday through Friday and 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
