On Saturday, December 5, a Christmas cabaret titled “A Heartfelt Christmas” will be performed twice, at 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., at the old general store in downtown Bristol. The performances will be held before and after the presentation of “Sanders Family Christmas” at the Bristol Opera House at 8:00 p.m.  During the event, renowned, award winning water color artist Pat Stutsman’s work will also be on display.

Talent for the cabaret will be provided by the Elkhart Civic Theatre troupe and members of the Bristol community. Auditions for the cabaret will be held in November. For more information or to schedule an audition please call John at 848-5853.

The events are sponsored by Friends of the Bristol Opera House to raise money for needed repairs to the historic structure. To that end raffles for gift items will also be held at each showing.

Tickets will be available after November 9 by calling the opera house at 848-4116 or Ann Andre at the Murphy Guest House (848-4899). Tickets will cost $15.00 each, or $10.00 each if purchased in conjunction with a ticket to the opera house presentation.
