Eby’s Family Fun, located at 14583 SR 120 (east of Bristol), has been providing family-oriented entertainment for over 50 years with its campgrounds and roller rink. Last weekend Eby’s held its Grand Opening for a high-tech “ultimate thrill” in family fun, namely, Invasion Earth – Laser Tag Arena.
Laser Tag is a unique, exciting, and fast-paced game that the whole family can enjoy. Using state-of-the-art “PHAZER” technology in a 4,800 square foot multi-level arena, Laser Tag provides endless possibilities. There are solo games, like Last Man Standing, and team-oriented games, such as Elimination, Attack and Defend, and Capture the Base.
The basic cost is $6.00 per game, with discounts for multiple games, and for families. The minimum age for children is seven, and the minimum height is 42 inches. For updates and more information, consult Eby’s online at www.ebysfamily fun.com.
Regular hours for the Laser Tag Arena are: Wednesday, 5:00 to 8:30 p.m.; Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Sunday, 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. The Weekend Jump Start offers Early Bird rates (buy one, get one free) from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
On Wild Skate-N-Phaze Wednesdays, patrons can enjoy unlimited Laser Tag and skating for $12.00, from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. The price includes skate rental.
Janice Maxey, manager, points out that Eby’s Family Fun remains a family owned and operated business, managed now by descendants of Harry Eby, the founder. Janice can be contacted at 848-4110 for information on private parties and lock-ins for youth groups.
Eby’s Family Fun continues to offer roller skating, for both quad and inline skates. Skates can be rented or purchased at the skate center. Consult the website noted above for further information about hours, group discounts, or private parties.
