The Humane Society of Elkhart County (HSEC) is asking residents who have adopted a pet from the shelter to send in a photo for a reunion collage to be displayed year round at the shelter.
“We love to see the happy faces of pets and their adoptive families,” said Rachel Dennis, Assistant Director of the Humane Society of Elkhart County. “This collage will serve as a reminder to prospective adopters of the joy a rescued pet can bring into their lives.”
Photos can include pets and their people including past and present. Please send 4″ x 6″ photos to: The Humane Society of Elkhart County, 54687 County Road 19, Bristol, IN 46507 by September 1. Please mark “Reunion Photo” on the envelope. Photos will not be returned and will only be accepted via mail or at the shelter.
Save the Date: The Humane Society’s Pet Fest will be held August 15. The event will be held on National Homeless Animals Day as “A Day to Honor Your Pets and the Animals that Remain Homeless.” Details coming soon.
Since 1939 the Humane Society of Elkhart County has been proud to serve our county with animal adoption and educational programs. The HSEC, an independent nonprofit, is on the front lines protecting the orphaned, unwanted and defenseless animals.
