-Bristol Food Pantry Will have a State representative from the Food Stamp Office available every third Thursday from 1-3 to fill out applications for Food Stamps.

-Bristol Elementary School will start on August 18, 2009.  Back to School night will be held on August 17, 2009 from 5 – 6 pm.

-Community Garage/Yard Sale Last year, by chance, 5 families on Vistula had held their own yard sales on the same date.  Because of this we had more customer traffic than usual. We would like to organize an Annual Community Yard Sale.  We are planning on August 13, 14, and 15 as the dates this year and hold it every year at this approx. dates.  Whether you have your sale on all 3 dates or just on Saturday, we are inviting you to join us. We plan on doing advertising in newspapers for a fee of $1 per family.  (Signs would be your option).

-Free Community Meal On Wednesdays Bristol United Methodist Church is offering a Free Community Meal each Wednesday evening from 5-6 PM.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  For more information call the church office at 848-4031.

-Great Need for Foster/Adoptive Homes The Villages is in great need of foster/adoptive homes that provide a caring and nurturing home for children. If you have room in your heart and home to foster children with The Villages, please attend our training coming up in April on Mondays and Thursday.
