The Tractor Clubs held their annual contest on Saturday, May 16 at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds, Goshen, IN.

The Elkhart County 4-H Farm Tractor and Garden Tractor contests were held Saturday, May 16, 2009 beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the fairgrounds, Goshen.  Winners will advance to the Area 10 contest on Saturday, June 13 in Porter County.  Area 10 winners advance to the State Fair contest in August.  The Elkhart County 4-H program is very grateful for Wyatt Farm Center and Kauffman & Son John Deere for their generous donation of tractors used in this contest.

Youth advancing to the Area 10 Contest from 4-H Farm Tractor are Senior Division Champion Joe Rohrer, Goshen and Reserve Champion Andrew Yoder, Elkhart, Junior Division Champion Aron Sexton, Elkhart and Reserve Champion Cody Plank, Bristol.

Youth advancing to the Area 10 contest from 4-H Lawn and Garden Tractor are Senior Division Champion Bennett Tyson, Goshen and Reserve Champion Reese Tyson, Goshen, Junior Division Champion Nicholas Beron, Elkhart and Reserve Champion Alexander Tyson, Goshen.
